Ann MathieAnn Mathie studies ontological frameworks within the traditions of Yoga, Tantra, and Buddhism to better understand how expanded states of consciousness affect everyday psychological experience. Her work explores the parallels between spontaneous kundalini awakenings, meditative absorption states, and psychedelic experiences. Drawing on thousands of years of contemplative knowledge from Eastern traditions, Ann works to bridge ancient phenomenological frameworks with modern Western psychology in order to support the safe integration of profound transpersonal experiences.
