Miranda is an artist and Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, working with young people and adults. As well as her clinical practice, she trained as a Lucid Dreaming Facillator with Charlie Morley. She teaches drawing as a meditation and the use of the arts for integrating non-ordinary experiences.
Her clinical experience includes work with NHS in and out patients and with survivors of abuse. As well as working with trauma, she specialises in neuro-divergent ways of being, and walking along side people during life's transitional moments. She offers collaborative one to one integrative arts psychotherapy online and in person.
Since expanded states of consciousness are often hard to encapsulate the words, being able to use the arts, allows for greater expression and meaning making. The Arts, like psychedelics, can allow us to make discoveries, getting to know ourselves on a deeper level, freeing us from limiting ways of being. Everyone has the ability to be creative, even if they don't see themselves as “arty". Creative therapy reconnects us with our vitality and develop our capacity to be present.
