Jocelyn is a Senior Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Internationally Accredited EMDR Practitioner, Clinical Supervisor, Author, and Doctoral Researcher at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
Jocelyn has extensive experience working as a research therapist on a number of psychedelic-assisted therapy clinical trials involving psilocybin, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT and other novel compounds. She holds a Diploma in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy from the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy and is co-author of the book Psychedelic-Assisted EMDR Therapy: A Memory Consolidation Approach to Psychedelic Healing, (Routeledge, 2025).
Her clinical, academic, and research interests centre on the evolving interface between trauma-focused psychotherapy and psychedelic-psychiatry, with a particular focus on the potential of EMDR as a scalable, evidence-informed approach to psychedelic healing. Outside of her professional work, Jocelyn is a bee keeper and a mother, with a keen interest in the healing properties of the natural world.
