Sitara Blasco | “The Holotropic Paradigm – Supporting Deep Process “

The Holotropic paradigm offers a comprehensive perspective on accompanying deep processes in expanded states. This perspective provides a specific set and setting. The facilitator holds an intention of non-directivity, honors the inner healing wisdom of the journeyer, and provides respectful physical and emotional support through “bodywork,” containment, and the allowance for the process to unfold safely and organically. There is an emphasis on supporting the reaching of a point of completion of the experience and on integration. The training of a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator requires personal work, practice, supervision, and intense experience as a breather. The way processes are supported in Holotropic Breathwork has many characteristics that make it very useful in assisting processes of different modalities. We will explore the main aspects of the Holotropic Paradigm in assisting deep processes.
