Tim Read | “Psychedelic Narratives: Framing the Wild”
What are the big ideas that have underpinned our work with psychedelics over the years and how have they stood the test of time? How can we best hold space for those that we accompany in psychedelic journeys and how do we hold space for ourselves in a way that is nourishing and growthful? How can we support genuine transformation and what does that even mean? What did we learn in the LSD era about human potential and what happened to the rebel wisdom, the wildness of that first generation of psychonauts? What do psychedelics show us about our place in the cosmos and the formative layers of our psyche? How did therapeutic work with psychedelics develop? What is different about the recent psychedelic renaissance? How does work with psychedelics shape our understanding of psyche and psychiatry? Where may we be heading as legislative frames change in some countries? And what may be lurking in the shadow?
